We get a number of requests from people who can’t find the e-books they ordered.
Important Tip #1:
The link is there for you to download the book, not to open and read it from there.
Important Tip #2:
To access and keep the book, you must save a copy to your computer or to an external drive or USB Flash drive attached to your computer.
Here’s how to download a copy of an e-book to your computer:
DO NOT CLICK THE DOWNLOAD LINK DIRECTLY OR YOU COULD LOSE THE BOOK.
For Windows-based computers only:
- Right-click the download link.
- A popup menu will appear.
- From the popup menu, choose “Save Target As” or “Save Link As.”
- Choose a name and location for the file and save it to your computer.
Mac computers or portable devices may require different methods. Due to the variety of methods, we cannot provide instructions – you will need to know how to save a downloaded file to your device. If you do not know, consult the instructions for your particular device.
Important Tip #3:
“Stuff happens” to computers. Be sure to save a backup copy of the book on CD or a flash drive for safekeeping.
