How to Save Your e-Book
We get a number of requests from people who can’t find the e-books they ordered.
Important Tip #1:
The link is there for you to download the book, not to open it and read it online.
Important Tip #2:
To keep the book, you must save a copy to your computer or to an external drive or USB Flash drive attached to your computer.
Here’s how to download a copy of an e-book to your computer:
DON’T CLICK THE DOWNLOAD LINK DIRECTLY OR YOU COULD LOSE THE BOOK.
- Right-mouse-click the download link.
- A popup menu will appear.
- From the popup menu, choose “Save Target As” or “Save Link As.”
- Choose a name and location for the file and save it to your computer.
Important Tip #3:
Accidents happen to computers. Hard drives crash; viruses hit; or someone accidentally deletes the file. Sometimes the file just gets misplaced.
Make sure to save an extra backup copy of the book on CD or on a Flash drive for safekeeping.
