Therapist Training I, II, III
The Institute will be offering licensed mental health and addiction professionals the ability to become trained and certified in The Institute’s Model of Care in ‘Pathological Love Relationships.’
The absence of trained and qualified professionals in counseling is an obstacle to recovery for survivors. One of The Institute’s missions is to train others so that quality care is available to survivors.The Certification Program will offer three levels to licensed professionals.
Agencies, treatment centers and private practices, we can come to your location to offer training to your staff. Ask us how. Treatment Centers, allow us to get you trained to accept our referrals when inpatient treatment is needed! We have NO trained treatment centers!
Level I: Pathology Basics
This level will include in-depth training on the issues of pathology, personality disorders and psychopathy and its relationship to inevitable harm. This level will help any professional become more competent in the areas of pathology education in which their graduate school training was inadequate. At the conclusion of this training, therapists will have competency in:
- The Permanence of Pathology
- The Types of Pathology that are Dangerous in Relationships
- Safety Elements in Constructing a Coordinated Exit
- Helping Clients Understand Their Patterns of Selection and What It’s Related to
- Why Pathology is Dangerous in Relationships
Level 1 costs $250.00 and can be taken on-line. The books and other materials are not included in the price and can be purchased separately. (You may already have some of these products from previous purchases). On-line testing is included in this course. Level I is a pre-requisite course for the following two courses of Level lI and Level III. Level I offers a Certificate of Completion.
Level II: Pathological Love Relationships & Group Therapy Facilitation
This level will include an in-depth training related to the unusual dynamics involved in pathological love relationships. This includes the use of dichotomous dynamics, the use of suggestibility, trance, and hypnotic inductions in these dangerous relationships. The Super-traits associated with persons choosing pathological relationships will be examined and their corresponding effects on relationship selection. The importance of understanding genetic transmission related to pathology and how to help parents become aware if there is emerging pathology in their children is also covered. Lastly, support group material for facilitators is offered for middle school, high school and adults. This level will assist professionals to become more competent in the often unstudied areas of pathological love relationships and their unique dynamics.

Level ll costs $275.00 and can be taken on-line. The books and other materials are not included in the price and can be purchased separately. (You may already have some of these products from previous purchases). On-line testing is included in this course. Level ll is a pre-requisite course for the following course of Level lll. Level ll offers a Certificate of Completion and the opportunity to be listed as a Group Facilitator on the magazine site.
Level III: Therapeutic Interventions & Psychotherapy Processes
This level includes in-depth training regarding Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that many survivors have because of the pathological love relationships. Treatment issues related to PTSD and these relationships are covered. A focus on patient self care and how to utilize self care for PTSD is addressed. An interesting teacing on Erksonian personality development and how personality disorders are related to the developmental deficits are pointed out. The common survivor problem of cognitive dissonance and how it is developed in pathological relationships is detailed as well as specific treatment approaches.

Level lll offers a Certificate of Completion and the opportunity to be listed as a therapist referral on the magazine site.
